Maternity Photography Experience
Maternity sessions are designed to celebrate strength, softness, and the quiet transformation of motherhood.
This experience is intentional, guided, and refined — focused on creating powerful, elegant imagery that reflects both the beauty of pregnancy and the woman within it. You are not expected to know how to pose. Every element of your session is thoughtfully directed to ensure you feel confident, supported,
and beautifully photographed.
When to Book
Maternity sessions are best photographed between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined and movement remains comfortable. It is recommended to reserve your session early, as availability is limited and sessions are intentionally scheduled to allow for a calm, un-rushed experience.
Session Length
Maternity sessions are structured yet relaxed. Sessions are reserved for up to 90 minutes, allowing time for wardrobe changes, posing guidance, and creative variation across multiple looks.
There is no rush — the goal is quality, not volume.
Studio Wardrobe | 50+ Gowns Provided
The studio offers a curated wardrobe of over 50 professional maternity gowns,
selected for movement, texture, and timeless appeal.
Gowns range from soft and romantic to bold and sculptural, allowing us to tailor your session to your vision and comfort level. You are welcome to choose multiple gowns during your session.
Styling guidance is provided throughout to ensure every look photographs beautifully.
15+ Maternity Backdrops
Your session includes access to 15+ professional maternity backdrops, offering a wide range of tones, textures, and moods. From clean and minimal to rich and dramatic, backdrops are selected intentionally to complement your chosen gowns, skin tone, and desired aesthetic. This variety allows us to create a diverse gallery within a single session while maintaining a cohesive, elevated look.
Posing & Direction
You will be guided through every pose.
Maternity sessions are fully directed, with attention to posture, angles, hands, and movement —
ensuring images feel natural, flattering, and confident rather than stiff or overly posed.
No modelling experience is required.
A Private, Professional Studio
Sessions take place in a fully equipped, private commercial studio designed for comfort and creativity.
The studio environment allows for controlled lighting, seamless wardrobe changes, and a calm atmosphere — resulting in polished imagery that cannot be replicated in unpredictable environments.
Partners & Children
Partners and children are welcome to participate. For the most efficient flow, individual maternity portraits are typically captured first, followed by family images. This ensures a smooth, enjoyable experience while preserving the quality and intention of each image.
