We have a favourite location close to our studio that allows for so many stunning backdrops.
I don't know how to pose
You don’t need to.Every session is fully guided from start to finish. I direct you through flattering, natural posing designed to enhance your shape and highlight your best angles. You will never be left wondering what to do.
I’m not comfortable in front of the camera
Most of my clients say this before their session.The studio is private, calm, and intentionally designed to feel relaxed. With guided direction and professional lighting, you’ll feel supported every step of the way — and the results often surprise people in the best way.
What do I wear
Bring as many options as you would like and we will decide when you arrive and help you choose the best options. When you book your session we also send a detailed what to wear guild.
I have a super big family
There is no limit on people in any of our sessions and we own the largest studio in Ottawa so there is lots of room for everyone. We do not charge more for extra people, it is included in your session fee.
I don't like myself in photos
You get to hand select only your favourite photographs at the end of your session.They are then fully edited to any level that you ask so you can stay fully natural or fully glam.
I'm pregnant none of my cloths fit
We have over 40 gowns of all sizes and many of them are corset back to they fit everyone.
You are welcome to wear as many different dresses during your session as you would like. There is no additional charge for this, it is included in your session fee.
I want digitals
It's 2026, we get it! As much as many of us love prints, digitals are the way of the world. We included a fully edited high resolution version of any purchased images. However, we also include a free matching 8x10 print of each because printing is still important.
What if my kids misbehave
Children are welcome exactly as they are.We build sessions with flexibility and patience, and I work quickly and efficiently to capture beautiful moments without forcing perfection.
I’m worried about how I look
Professional studio lighting is specifically designed to sculpt and flatter.Combined with guided posing and custom professional retouching, your portraits will feel polished, refined, and true to you.
I’m not sure if it’s worth the investment

As all photographers do, I started by handing my clients a disk of endless images that they will never sort through let alone print. This huge mound of memories that may never be viewed again; especially if the disk got lost or days got busy.
I was doing my clients a disservice, I wasn't delivering them a final product.
My love for tangible art really appeared when I bought my first home, I had these blank walls that made me feel nothing. Such a strange thought - a wall evoking an emotion, but a painting of flowers from a home store just didn't work for me.
It started with one piece, a canvas of my puppy.
All of a sudden I got a little chuckle when I saw her little face in the morning.
I was hooked. These beautiful happy moments that were frozen in time on my walls, gave me a smile every single day.
I want to do this for other families, I want to spark a smile on a rainy afternoon or tear drop when your child goes off to school. I want to give families the gift of a lifetime; true artwork.

The Session
Whether you’re booking maternity, newborn, family, headshots,
or boudoir, your experience is guided from start to finish.

The Image Selection
Immediately following your session, we sit down together and relive what we’ve created.
You’ll view your portraits for the first time and select how you’d like to preserve them — whether that’s wall artwork, a handcrafted acrylic album, or a curated collection of digital files.
This is where your images become more than files.
They become part of your home.
Custom retouching is always included.
Editing Approval
We email you a copy of your edited portraits for approval before they get printed.
We are always happy to fix up an image until you love it.
The Final Artwork
Enjoy. These memories are important right now, but the true value of a moment is not realized until the moment has long passed. What we create today, will allow you to relive this moment in time.
